Nicole Frain
Elite, Tasmania
Since breaking into the international women's peloton at 28, Nicole hasn't looked back. Racing in the inaugural Women's Paris Roubaix and Tour de France Femmes and claiming the Elite Australian National Road Race Championship, she's earned an impressive stack of accolades along the way.
Swapping road for gravel, Nicole took out the UCI Gravel World Cup Series title in 2025, and splits her time between Europe for the racing season and home in Australia training and reconnecting with her local cycling community.

Connor Sens
Elite, Victoria
Connor is an elite racer in the gravel scene, with stints as a continental cyclist in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia as a multi-discipline cyclist. Taking out the 2023 AusCycling Gravel National Championships in Derby, Connor is the leader of the field when it comes to hard climbs, technical descents and muddy terrain. Looking to reach the top of gravel racing, we’re keen to see what Connor gets up to in the next 12 months as he looks to achieve his dreams on the world’s biggest stage.

Peta Mullens
Elite, Victoria
Having been racing bikes for 20 years now, Peta followed the path of road racing through the AIS and the World Tour, before discovering MTB, and more recently gravel. Peta has raced on the European and US circuit for both road and MTB, but also had success within Australia, winning 12 National titles along the way.
For the past five years Peta was at the helm of a UCI Women’s cycling team Roxsolt, where they were one of the most successful teams in Australia’s history. This year Peta is reverting back to being a privateer in pursuit of the US based off-road series the Life Time Grand Prix, a series of rough roads and 200+ mile events – where she’ll be utilising Burgh’s Endurance tapes

Jon Odams
Elite, New South Wales
Jon is a lifelong rider and podium regular across a bunch of disciplines including enduro, XC, e-bike and DH racing. From claiming the Australian 24 Hour Solo National Championship in 2022 to a stack of stage race and event victories that would make any racing fan froth, Jon’s results are a testament to his skill and determination. Even with his continued success, Jon’s true passion and motivation for the sport is fuelled by epic adventures on his gravel rig across Sydney and greater Australia.

Sophie Byrne
Elite, Victoria
Sophie is a passionate gravel and endurance racer, who’s quickly making her mark on Australia’s growing gravel scene. Known for her strength and resilience, she brings her engineering background to every element of the sport, from equipment and training, to recovery and performance.
After a stack of races on home soil, Sophie’s setting her sights on competing in major gravel events in the United States and Europe in 2026, with the goal of establishing a strong presence on the global gravel circuit.

Tyler Hartle
Elite, Canada
Tyler is a 21-year-old cyclist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, chasing his dream of taking cycling as far as he can. He’s competed in some of North America’s top cycling events, including the Gastown Grand Prix, Belgian Waffle Ride - Arizona and Canadian Gravel Nationals where he finished in the top 30 riders. Whether it’s road, gravel or CX, Tyler loves the freedom of riding, exploring the great outdoors and pushing his limits.

Elizabeth Nuspan

Eli is an off-road rider who is rarely sitting still and usually found racing somewhere around Australia. Her focus lies in XC, gravel, and road events, bouncing between racing herself and soaking up everything happening around the course.
When she’s not on the start line, Eli is working with Flow Mountain Bike, helping bring races to life through on-the-ground coverage and behind-the-scenes storytelling. She’s just as happy in the thick of the action as she is sharing it with the crowd.

Kyle is a pro gravel privateer who balances a busy corporate career with a passion for cycling, from challenging fellow elite racers to joining weekday group rides. With a busy 2026 schedule of top gravel events, Kyle’s mission is simple: spread the joy of cycling, one ride at a time.

Maxx Nuspan
Elite, Victoria
Maxx has been racing bikes for over a decade, and at 17 years old he’s already one of the most versatile young cyclists in Australia.
Specialising across track, road and gravel, Maxx has represented Australia internationally in Malaysia and New Zealand, with Europe next on the list in 2026. Cycling clearly runs in the family - you may recognise the surname from fellow Burgh rider and elite cyclist, Elizabeth Nuspan.
What sets Maxx apart is his approach, methodical, process-driven, and quietly determined to keep improving. He races with Butterfields Ziptrak Racing and brings that same team mentality to everything he does on the bike.

Izzy Flint

A young up and coming superstar of everything on two wheels, Izzy is the new-age rider who can achieve just about anything the sport of cycling has to offer. A beast on the MTB, a workhorse on the road and an even bigger shredder on the Enduro bike, Izzy’s feats are fit to model for any young riders in Tassie.

Patty Best
Devonport, Tasmania
With over a decade of racing experience, Patty has an impressive stack of medals across gravel, DH, track, enduro, road and XC – talk about an all-rounder!
He's now shifted gears to gravel and MTB racing and set his eyes on a bunch of races in 2026 including the Oceania Road Championships, Devils Cardigan and Gravel Nationals.
Outside of the adrenaline rush of cycling, Patty is passionate about helping people. As a disability support worker and qualified fitter and turner, he is on a mission to show that people with impairments can still chase their dreams and do seriously amazing things, even if their path has a few more hills than most.
